Renault Master E-Tech Electric: Fleet Test Results

Short Description

Renault's large electric van has completed our rigorous 90-day fleet test. Here are the results that matter to operators considering making the switch.

Details

The Renault Master E-Tech Electric impresses with its practicality and real-world usability. Over our 90-day test covering 8,400 miles of mixed urban and inter-urban use, average consumption sat at 26kWh per 100km, delivering a consistent 120-130 miles of range in temperate conditions. The 87kWh battery supports 130kW DC rapid charging. Payload of 1,100kg and load volume of 13 cubic metres make it directly competitive with diesel rivals. Driver feedback was overwhelmingly positive regarding refinement and ease of driving. Running costs were approximately 40% lower than the diesel equivalent when charged on a standard overnight business tariff.
