Built by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand, the 2023 Colorado ZR2 uses a 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 310 hp or an available 2.8L Duramax diesel. It features Multimatic DSSV dampers borrowed from race vehicles, electronic front and rear locking differentials, and rocker protection side rails. Ground clearance is 9.1 inches and approach angle is 32.2 degrees. The interior includes an 11.3-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a standard heated steering wheel. The ZR2 competes directly with the Ford Ranger Raptor and Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro.
